Lincoln County, Nevada is home to amazing outdoor adventure. Nestled in this high desert climate are five state parks, off-road trails, unique small towns and 10,000+ square miles to explore.
People are increasingly aware of what the county has to offer thanks to the efforts of the Lincoln County Authority of Tourism (LCAT). The organization, through the support of TravelNevada, has made great strides in building an audience around ways to #GetPrimitive in Lincoln County. We have enjoyed assisting LCAT in this endeavor, including the latest project recently completed, the Lincoln County Visitor Guide.
The Guide is a 48-page magazine-style book providing a range of information for those visiting the area. Copies have been distributed to motels, restaurants and retail stores throughout the county. Information includes a brief history, community services, maps, destinations, events, dining, and shopping. Many local businesses joined in by advertising their establishments in the Guide. Members of the LCAT board pitched in reviewing and providing suggestions to improve the book.
NVC Media took care of compiling content and the complete design. The end result is an excellent new community asset for spreading the word about this area. Visitor Guides will be printed yearly and a mobile app version is now in the works.
