Nevada Central Media Expands Reach Across Rural Nevada

Alamo, Nevada – Nevada Central Media (NVC Media), a leading publisher of community newspapers in rural Nevada, is excited to announce its significant expansion in 2024. The company has grown from publishing one weekly newspaper to four, solidifying its commitment to providing essential local news and information to communities across the state.

In addition to the Lincoln County Record, which Nevada Central Media acquired in 2020, the company now owns and operates The Ely Times, The Eureka Sentinel, and the Mesa Valleys Progress. The Ely and Eureka publications were purchased in January 2024, while Mesa Valleys joined the Nevada Central Media family in July 2024.

With this expansion, Nevada Central Media now serves four counties in rural Nevada:

  • White Pine County: The Ely Times
  • Eureka County: The Eureka Sentinel
  • Lincoln County: Lincoln County Record
  • Clark County (Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley): Mesa Valleys Progress
