Civil FX was created to share with and connect the world to the best of project visualizations and 3D animations from a civil engineering perspective. This field is exciting as new software programs and processes are being developed each year that make for better, faster, and cheaper project visualizations.
Civil FX approached Nevada Central Media for a website re-design in order to better showcase the amazing 3D visualizations this company creates.
Planning
Through our research and conversations with ownership, it was very clear that a key area of focus was front-and-center display of the beautiful 3D renderings Civil FX creates for its clients. It was also important for the site to effectively introduce potential clients to the company, the services available, and share Civil FX’s unique story. We wanted to highlight what makes Civil FX unique and different, and we made that a priority throughout each phase of the website design process.
Design and Development
Nevada Central Media utilized the Aku Theme as a robust platform that reflects Civil FX’s cutting-edge style. The site features a long-scroll, mobile-responsive design with high-resolution imagery of Civil FX’s renderings.
Other features of the site include impressive animations, video integration, blog, podcast, and mailing list form.
