Ben Rowley’s article takes first in statewide contest

Ben Rowley’s article on rural roads was selected as Best Non-Staff Story in the Community Newspaper division of the Nevada Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest.

The award was given during the association’s annual convention held last weekend.  Judges said it was a “straightforward, well-written story.”
